Missing sensor?

There is a rectangular hole in my kitchen cabinet close to the floor that held a sensor of some sort. It was hard wired in but has been removed. There is a warning next to the hole that leads me to believe it was a propane detector. I would like to find out what it is and replace it.
Sorry I have pictures but once I select them I can figure out how post
Thanks
Chris

Ding, Ding ,Ding. You are correct. It’s the propane leak detector
Here’s a white one. I can’t seem to find a black one?

After doing a little searching I find that black ones are nearly impossible to find, in that portrait mode shape. Not only that, Attwood and Dometic models are no longer available. That may explain why there is a hole there instead of a detector, PO couldn't find one.

Here's an Attwood at Recpro, I don't know anything about the company. Product is $45, portrait position and black.
