Mirror on bathroom door

Hi can anyone tell me how to remove the mirror on inside of bathroom door. The silver is falling off and I cannot figure out how to get off without messing the door finish up. Any help would greatly appreciated. Sandy

If it's the same as a 72 tradewind, this is how I got mine off. There is mirror adhesive on the backside of the mirror at the top. I GENTLY pried between the top frame and the mirror until it slide down then I could see that the frame is rivieted on so I drilled out the top two riviets and the top piece of the frame lifted off, then I slide out the mirror, and THEN I PROMTLY WACKED IT AGAINTED THE EDGE OF THE TABLE AND BROKE IT!!! No kidding, now I have to have a new one cut. But at lest I know how to get it out.

Annette, sorry about your mirror,I have one like over the sink. Now I have to find a place that cut mirror. The one on the door it look plactic with a matel frame. The silver has pelled away from the plastic and is at the bottom of the frame on the inside. It looks like one of those frames you see in truck stops in restrooms with ads in them. It looks like its been there along time. I guess its glued. I will look at it again and let you know what I did.

Mine was cracked, so I completely removed my mirror. I did the same as bullydogsmom to remove it. The old mirror was very heavy and I plan on replacing it with a new one, which is MUCH lighter than the original.
