Micro Pulse Holding Tank Monitoring - No Power

Hello Everyone!

I am hoping to get a little bit of guidance here. My wife and I have a 2007 Bambi Safari 19ft. Recently the lights on the Micro Pulse monitoring system just stopped working. It seems there is no power. Any suggestions on what to do?

I will add that when we turn the switch for the water pump, it does seem to come on.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Chad

I once had my See-Level display "go dead" after I inadvertently hit it with static electricity when I went to touch it. For me the fix was to remove the display panel from the wall (unscrew it) and then disconnect the RJ-11 connector (same as a land-line phone) for a few minutes. Then I reconnected the RJ-11 and screwed the display back in place and everything has worked fine since. I am surmising that this is equivalent to "rebooting the system." The MicroPulse is a different system but you might try to see if this will work for it as well.

Best of luck.

Hi Chad,
They are made by Catcon and we used to sell their products but they are difficult to get in contact with. They don't even have a phone number on their website, at least that I can find. Maybe send them an email. Good luck.

Catcon has a number listed in the right upper side of the web page!
Ive called them before and they were helpful.
I still trash canned their monitor as it simply would not work reliably but they will talk.

thanks everyone. I will remove the panel and reconnect this weekend. If that doesn't work, I will call the company.

You can try the quick reconnect recommend, but I suspect your issue is more typically at the other end of the line - namely the connection to the sensors at the tank. Any corrosion on the little wires will result in the tank measurements quitting.

If removing the connector causes a reboot, maybe just switching power off at the breaker panel ( i.e. removing 12 V wire) would work and may be a bit easier

None of the lights are coming on including the battery status light...so I am thinking it is not the tank sensors.
