Marmoleum click flooring

I am refurbishing a 1976 25’ TradeWind and the next step is the finish floor. Has anyone used the Marmoleum click flooring, either the 12” tiles or the 12”x36” version? If so, did you 1) let it float or fasten it to the subfloor?, and 2) fasten cabinetry through the flooring (assuming the entire floor was done first, even the floor beneath cabinetry and appliances)? Has anyone who used this product experienced any gaps opening or closing as the Airstream is exposed to very hot and very cold temperature variations? What has your overall experience with the product been, and would you recommend it for the use I’ve described? Thanks.

Can't testify to the click version but we installed the sheet version years ago. So far, it has been impervious to harm. Maintenance is basically dragging a damp mop over it every now and then...

We installed the Click flooring, using both 12x12 and 12x36 to create a pattern the boss found pleasing. We installed it on the entire floor except under the front water tank. Obviously we have secured things thru the flooring (banquette, wiring, furnace, frig, water heater. We did not secure any cabinets or walls through the flooring. So far no problems. Installed last summer, we keep a heater in the trailer through the winter to maintain 60 F.

Thanks for the input. I prefer the sheet version of Marmoleum, but it is rather spendy. I do wish to secure cabinetry down through the floor so the floating version may not be a good option for me. I’ve also considered the non click, gluedown Marmoleum, but cannot get comfortable with how it will react to extreme temperature changes (-10 degreees F to 90+), specifically expansion and contraction. So, I’m still thinking and open to ideas. Thanks.
