Made it to the Big Leagues!

Well it’s official..... I’ve been called up to play Big Boy Ball now.
I’ve been asked to write a weekly blog post for www.doityourselfrv.com and NOT for FREE!
I will be writing mostly Airstream based articles focused on DIY, MODS and general repair.
Who’ed ever thunk it.... Heck I can barely spell
I’ll be posting links to the articles as they come out.
First one should be out soon titled
“RVing” is not a “Spectator Sport!”
Should be a good start to a very short career in writing

Congrats! I'm sure this forum will be a good resource for DIY input. Don't be afraid to PM posters here for DIY details. It seems that frequently postings can be brief and I know a lot of PMing goes on between posters and those who need more repair info.
I'm sure many of us would be glad to help.

And...no, RVing is not a spectator sport. Should be an interesting read for you first dive.

Congratulations! I will be following for sure. You certainly have been a big help and inspiration to me in my short(so far) journey in Airstreaming. If there anything I can do just let me know. Scott

Guys..... this ain’t a book deal. It’s a weekly blog post for an RV Life owned blog. (RV Life also owns AirForums). We would love the full-time life but I still own a Multi million dollar home based business that would not travel well.
I’ve got a daughter in the 11th grade super involved with cheer and such and a son in the 5th grade. Right now they are our anchor in the sand.
All that said we still are averaging 100 nights per year in our Airstream. I think we are doing pretty good?
My wife and I have 7-10 more years before we can hit the Road really hard.
I am 44 and she is 39. We are in good shape for the future... I hope
Maybe by the time we get them up and going I will be on my second our third book deal and we can travel as we see fit.

Ronnie,
Nice easy-to-read first article introducing yourself. You are certainly a unselfish kind of guy - one of the traits that makes this country great!
Good luck in your new endeavor.

This article should be mandatory reading before buying any RV. If you join the RV community, you had better be prepared to be self-sufficient. We look forward to your future articles.
