Avant garde

Here's one I just came across, another one by Carlos Ferguson. Perhaps this one should be called a Micro-Monte?

A page that I've looked at pretty often (it'll become clear why) is this one:

Bay Breeze Air Conditioner

Slow = Low on funds

I keep track of mine at The Reid's 1956 Caravanner Renovation

More work has been done, just the blog hasn't been update in awhile.

Doug,

I'm glad to hear you have made progress.

Your blog and VTS Steve's are a couple of the first resto blogs I checked out.

I hope the funding issues improve... I feel your pain.

Hi Joy,

Welcome to the forums.

This probably was not the best place to post your question but I will try to answer it for you. Ordinarily what you should do is go to a particular forum area that deals with the topic that you are interested in and post a new thread where you can ask your question. You can also find a lot of answers by using the Search button on the menu at the top right. There is hardly any question you can think of about Airstreams that hasn't already been asked many times.

It makes a big difference if you are talking about replacing your interior walls or the outside walls. It also makes a difference on how much material you need. One of the better sources that I am aware of is the following:

Airparts Inc. Homepage

You can do some searching for "aluminum" to find threads that talk about the different types and thicknesses.

I hope this gets you started.
