Leak 2012 Flying Clod

My inside drips out next to the AC drip line, but not through the drip line. M. ostly drips moving to mid day. Airstream did some trouble shooting. They said a kink in the AC causes a leak. We rarely use the AC. And never used AC since it was leaking. Can AC leak if not used.
