Known issues and parts

We're seriously discussing a 34' Airstream instead of our 40' Foretravel. We're looking at late 90's (WB) coaches. I know that some older coaches with rear baths had some problems back there, but I believe that the coaches we're interested in have rear bedrooms. I also know to check for floor damage under windows and by the door. What else should I check? This will be a first "inspection" only, as we will hire someone who really knows what's what to check over anything we're really interested in buying.

What I'm really asking is what are the known trouble spots for these coaches?

The second part of my question concerns parts availability. We've had to order parts from Foretravel because we couldn't find them locally, and sometimes even Foretravel didn't have what we needed. What issues might we run into in that respect with a late 90's 34' Airstream?

David, your question is a bit vague - are you asking about 34-ft AS trailers or 34-ft AS motor-homes? Prior to 2011 I had a 34-ft AS Landyacht motor-home (diesel pusher). The term "coach" generally refers to a motor-home.

Please clarify.
