It’s been a long slog, but we’re ready to go
It’s been almost 1 year since we picked this Argosy up and started discovering all the things old trailers need. We’ve rehabbed the undercarriage including a new belly pan, caulked the heck out of everything, new vents, straightened out minor dents, new upholstery, Fantastic Fan, re-plumbed half the water system (it’s 90% Pex now), new counter tops, new sinks and faucets, new floor, and I’m sure there’s more I’ve conveniently forgotten. The last major thing that needs to be done is to change out the axle. The RV supply and repair place measured and ordered a new one for us, but when it came in (after waiting 6 weeks) it was incorrect – 4” too wide. I don’t know whose fault it was and really don’t care. At least the RV outfit put on new hubs and bearings, and said we’re safe to go camping. And we’ve got the rig insured.
Here’s a couple of shots of the interior (forgot to put the table in - oh well). We'll be installing base and other trim later. For now, we’re going camping.
