Jim, those handles are tough, the stickers even tougher. I stuck an old screw driver through the hole in the handle, then whacked the screwdriver to knock the handle off. Takes an extra hand though. The stickers must have some sort of nuclear grade glue on them. Takes some serious work with lacquer thinner and a stick. And the poles that Mr. LONGARM sells are even tougher to get the stickers off of. Along with the thinner they require about 6 beers.
Looking forward to the pics. John

John, you aren't kidding about those damned stickers. I even tried a heat gun on them to loosen the glue, no luck getting more than a shred off before it tore. Maybe Goof-Off or something will do the trick.

I had another idea - if my kids misbehave while camping or at a rally, punishment will be half an hour of sticker removal. At that rate, I'll have them all off in a day or two. ;-)

Cheers,

Jim

good product

Can't go wrong with the holder from Sandlapper. Precision made, no need to be getting hose clamps or other securing devices. All parts included, even has spacers in case they are needed .

Are you kidding? Tell them to be careful because the stickers absolutely cannot be damaged and have to remain on the poles.

They should be off quickly that way.

Sandlapper Flag Holder

All -

Here's my nice new setup, with the flag holder made by John (sandlapper). Flag poles as discussed from Lowe's, the flags are attached with hitch pin clips.

I'll have these set up at the BASH III rally in July and the WBCU Capital Kick-Off Rally in late April, if folks would like to stop by and take a look.

Cheers,

Jim

John - Finally getting my first AS. Just had to wait for the right one. Are you still making your beautiful 3 pole set? I want to display my US, Navy, and GA flags on my 92 Excella Classic 25. Please send me a price quote and ordering instructions. Thx. Bill

Hey Bill, congrats on your new Stream. Some things are just worth the wait.

I still make the 3 and 5 pole holders, 160 and 185, includes shipping in the US. Have them ready to go, just need mailing address. Shoot me a pm for the details.

And thank you for your service.

John
