How to mount an extra sewer hose pipe?

got a sewer hose pipe from Valera ... for my extra 10 feet of sewer hose
now....

do I just use 4 metal screws and screw it into the underbelly ?

I am afraid that I find something important and than have a mess drilling into it

any ideas ?

Thanks Thor

That's how I would do it. Just steer clear of the holding tanks.

My storage pipe is attached into the frame on one end and to the belly pan on other end. Used three 3/16" pop rivets on each side of tube into belly pan. Used #12 metal screws into frame. Time to rehang it, been nearly ten years.

I also added a second hose holder. It came as a two part expandable unit. The center was not supported and eventually sagged, as the only connection points to the trailer were at the two outer ends. Adding an aluminum center support strap at the expansion point in the middle fixed the issue.

My sewer hose storage pipe is about half way between the tongue and wheels- about under the living room/dining room- no holding tanks there-

Just a heads up. On my previous trailer the po used small rivets to attach his storage pipe. First time I pulled into a highway gas station I bottomed out and ripped the pipe off. It hung in there until I got on the highway and flew off at speed. Luckily no additional damage was done to the trailer and more importantly no other vehicles made contract with it. The pipe on my current Safari is attached with robust screws and rivets. It would take a solid hit to rip it off.

If you feel around under the belly pan, and/or look for screws/rivets, you may find a transverse support you can screw into. Another alternative is if there is a seam in the belly pan it will be stronger than just the single thickness of pan. Mine was originally attached to just the belly pan and had been re-attached with larger and larger screws but was about to strip out. I rebuilt some larger pipes out of 5" PVC fence post covers to fit my new hoses with larger flanges and made 1/8" aluminum straps which I was able to attach to framing members for one holder and the other was mounted under the screws holding the straps around the tanks.

I also bought an extension sewer hose. It fit in the same carrier tube as the regular hose. It is a bit of a stretch to open the far end of the tube, but I've only needed the extension a couple of times.

This would make your AS cosmetically challenged, but i have seen the tubes mounted vertically on truck campers, etc.

We use the EZ Coupler hose kit. Two hoses, connected together, fit in the stock storage tube on our 22 FB Sport. You just have to compress them in very snugly. I do not envision needing more than 20' of sewer hose to hook up.

PVC pipe - drilled and threaded a frame crossmember and installed three hangars..I wouldn't trust sheetmetal screws into the belly pan

Hangers

Clause,

Where did you find those large hangers for the large pvc?

I like that idea, drilling and tapping!

I found them at Addison Building Supply in Mount Prospect, but I think they were old stock. You should be able to find something similar at any home supply, if they don't have these.
