Wife wouldn't get in the truck if there wasn't a shower in the trailer.

We tried using the shower in the AS when we first got it, didn't like it. It fills up the gray tank too fast and not enough water for the wife to wash her long hair. We both use the campground facilities and have no complaints. We've tried flip-flops, Teva sandals and have settled on Crocs to get you there and shower with. We haven't caught any creepy crud yet. If I didn't catch it in 3 years of military service I figure I know how to care for my feet.

We still use the shower every day: plant keeper, spare carpet storage, laundry hamper and miscellaneous storage.

Daily when hooked up, otherwise every 2nd day. We have the Oxygenics shower head.

It's our luxury home. Both of us every morning. Important enough to put an RV550 (constant hot water) in before our first use.

My trailer was GOING to have a full size shower period. (32" x 32")

A nice hot shower is one of the great comforts of a modern society that I will not forgo by choice.

I call it my Norman Bates Syndrome - am nervous about using public/hotel/motel showers.

Or....have luxury accommodations in a small space, and choose public showers over your wet bath in exchange for the convenience that the small footprint brings.

I started out camping in a pop-up with no bath or hot water. Had bag "sun" shower....and tent for a quick rinse or used bath house. Now I use the shower in the Bambi, pure luxury. 😀 It is the convenience of not lugging the stuff back and forth as much as anything else for me. The hubby likes the extra space in the campground showers....guess that extra foot of height is reason enough for him to feel crapped in the smaller shower. But if not at full hookup site....or dry camping ....the plan changes a bit.

We've always used the showers in our campers. Even our pop up had a shower. Although the boys and I would use the outside one. The girls never went for that. Ha
Now with the AS we both use the indoor one. Maybe not every day, depends on activity levels. Long hike, fishing all day, kayak all day, shower that evening. Lay around in the hammock all day reading, I may just wear a hat the next day.
But we've never had a problem using the trailer shower. I'll haul water if needed, but we are pretty careful about using much water for anything when we aren't hooked up, which is the usual case.

Another daily x2. We'd stop camping if we would depend on camp ground facilities. It should be like at home, shouldn't it? :-)

No!

If it was home, you would be there.

All a matter of personal preference, and the size of your grey tank.

In our 25' 2004 Safari we have the dry shower. The shower is big enough, but the dressing area is just to small to deal with. I like to use the CG facilities because it affords lots of room.

When traveling with our two grand daughters it is much more convenient to leave the trailer and to up to the shower facilities and use it, then the girls and wife can have privacy and I can have a shower with decent water pressure.

Water pressure: Does anybody else have a lack luster water pressure in the shower or is it just mine? or is this just what we must deal with while camping.

As time goes on, I use it more and more.
Usage may be somewhere between 50% and 100%.
I use campground showers when they are nice and clean.
Otherwise, take a shower in the trailer.
Take a shower in the trailer when it is cold or raining.
Slowly transitioning from 100% campground showers during tent camping days to 100% trailer shower usage in my 6th year of trailering.
