How do you replace window glass

We just acquired a 31 foot 1987 Excella Airstream trailer. There are 2 side windows that open and 2 small fixed oval windows that need repair. Do I have to drill out the rivets? Any advice or suggestions is appreciated. And where do I get replacement glass?
Thanks,
Higgi

Yes you do have to drill out the rivets. I'm pretty sure inland rv carries the replacements but if you haven't done this before I hear it's not an easy chore! Just pull up inland rv .com

There are two types of oval windows that do not open.

The one on the top of an opening window is called "vista view".

The one underneath the opening window is called a "stack window".

They are the same width, but the stack is flat and the vista view is curved.

In either case, they must be drilled out.

A replacement will have the metal already around the glass.

The "glass" only will never be sold by Airstream.

You will need a package of Olympic rivets and a tube of Vulkem sealer in order to do the job, plus a pop river gun and a way to shave the rivet heads down.

Also, those windows are available in 4 different widths, therefore you must spec which size you need.

The fix is easy.

You replace them.

What widths are you needing?
