There was a picture quite a while back of a moho which had dragged a toad until the back tires AND rims were worn down to the axle.
Yep! that exactly what would happen! Not many drivers even use the parking brake on the TV!

I had my emergency disconnect brake replaced. When they put it in the installer did not push the plunger all the way into the lock position. While pulling the trailer home I hit a road bump and the insert for the break away brake came out as if the trailer had disconnected from the truck. After 100 yards I could not understand why the truck would not go. I looked out my mirrors and saw blue smoke coming from the passenger side of the trailer. I barely got off the road and I was stopped in my tracks. I would assume the trailer disconnect brakes would be used for an emergency brake. If that is the correct scenario no one would be driving away with the trailer emergency brake on . LOL
