Hooks, knobs and gizmos

I started the thread to answer some questions perhaps that myself and others may have about various items on an Airstream or perhaps to identify things that have been added.

Does anyone know what this is? It is on my bedroom wall. There was nothing on the wall prior to my adding a television but what is that hook for?

yeah but what? It looks as if it was original. It is actually a dangling hook.

It's kind of hard to tell from the photo, it is very grainy and the object is awfully small. Any chance of a closer photo?
