I found a '63 Globetrotter, it nees a lot of work. The GT you told me about was in better shape, but the '63 is lighter and matched my children's tow vehicles. Of course, they want to know when it will be ready to use!

Wow, what a nice Dad! Sure wish mine would finish my Overlander reno for me! (To be fair, he has already helped quite a bit ).

Norm,

You and I will just have to do our Overlander renos together. Your 59 is cooler than my 63, but they both have lots of potential. We can be sort of like KenJ and Uwe when they were redoing theirs at the same time a few years back, right Ken?

(Just kidding of course, I am not nearly so presumptuous, those two trailers are absolutely beautiful! )

If we can get our Overlanders in half as good of condition as Ken and Uwe's, we will be in awesome shape. But I sure have a lot of catching up to do. And don't forget Truckasaurs and all that nice work he is doing on his 61'. How about Denver or thereabouts for an Overlander rally say around 2011?

Wow - I missed the last couple of posts in May of last year - Overlander rally sounds good....

We are doing the restoration rally again this year in June - LOTS of aluminum in various forms...

Ken, I'd love to get the Captain down to the restoration rally one of these years. Unforutnately, while I should have the shell back on by this June, I'll probably still be a few months away from road worthy. I sure hope I get to see your trailer someday. The pics I've seen are just incredible.

Well, hope you make it sometime - we have a number of folks who come without trailers and stay in hotels...
