Help! Locked in Trailer

Sunday morning I woke up and was unable to exit my Airstream trailer. I have a 2013 27FB Flying Cloud. The latch mechanism was broken and the interior handle would not work. Fortunately, I was able to call a neighbor over and the exterior portion worked. I tried disassembling he lock and was unable to locate/remedy the problem.

I think I need to replace the entire mechanism. I looked through the Owners Manual and Parts Catalogue, but was unable to find the specific vendor and type for the mechanism. Any ideas?

I recall seeing these at JC at the "store" for around $40. I still have a spare somewhere.

Not sure what Airstream is using as a door handle for the 2013 but that year SOBs were using a handle that is the subject of a Federal Recall. If you ask the dealer they will try and sell the replacement but they are free.
