Come on!! You are showing an unidentified corpse in a body bag!! What is the model, what is the year? What fell on it? Are the windows intact? What does it cost?

Real dead body...

It is a 1968ish Travelux. 23 feet. I can now answer my own question as I have gone inside. The ribs are all turned and twisted... The ends have collapsed as well. Rivets have popped out. It is looking more like a seeve than a trailer. I have expended $10k so far on it. It is uninsured. And I am heartbroken. It would have been beautiful...

So sorry for your loss of money, time and effort! Out of curiosity, did a tree fall on it, or was is snow load?

Thanks

It is good to know that there is a community that understand my loss. It was snow and rain and ignorance and negligence on my part.

Unfortunately we had a gentleman here in Ontario that had the very same thing happen to his 31' trailer. He had a custom built aluminum frame done, with new axles, subfloor and even had the exterior polished to with in an inch of its life; unfortunately he neglected to install the interior skins before winter, which deprived the exterior skin of strength. He tried to sell his trailer for less than a quarter of what he had into it.

Those interior skins must be back on before winter snows.

Cheers

***** --- Worth highlighting IMO --- *****

Adding some interior wall framing, or other structural support inside, would also be a good idea IMO.

Sorry for your loss Juliec.

Very sad to see this. Perhaps your home owners insurance might cover your loss.
