Collect the money and go on vacation. The expansion and contraction of aluminum will eliminate the dimples in time. Any pictures?

Hail

Luckily we did not get hit again. Suppose to have some bad weather again this weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed. Did have some luck. Won a Stars n Stripes 4 wheel mobility scooter from the RV show (Vogt Dealer). If anyone interested selling for $2,300 - negotiable. Hope everyone has no damage to their AS this weekend. Those out of state....come visit Texas. We have the most beautiful state parks in the U.S.

Why buy food if you don't intend to eat it?
Why buy insurance if you don't intend to collect on injury?
If you only believe insurance is for the BIG injuries....(I subscribe to that theory)... then doesn't it make better sense to buy insurance with a higher deductible?
And, BTW, there are also policies with high deductibles that disappear when the damage is quite severe.... and there are also "stated value" policies that will pay whatever agreed value the premium supports.
Not criticizing.... just hoping to help think insurance through...
If I suffered hail damage, I'd want Airstream to fix it, and I'd want the insurance co. to pay the price of having it towed to the repair facility if it was not possible/practical for me to do it. It's part/parcel of the claim.

I'm over here in Allen, my 25' 2008 Safari SE got hit as well, front and rear end caps on the door side. Everything else aside, There are issues when dealing with end caps, and getting it back leak free. It take's weeks for company to deal with these particular area's, and do it right.
My damage is not so severe that I deem it ugly, or unusable. Mine is paid for, so if I collected insurance I would not be able to collect again with the same problem anytime soon. We are having a record season for hail and more due next week. Mine sits outside, and cant hide from it.
You do what you think is right for you. Good Luck and happy sailing.

Not easy to acquire this attitude, but I salute it.

It is skin tears that are to be fixed, pronto.

I, too, live near Dallas and received hail damage especially on the exposed back portion of the trailer. North Dallas RV is backed up 6 months but will look at my trailer for a damage estimate. Either North Dallas RV or Jackson Center might be your options.
