Guess how much cash it takes to fix a scratch

I pulled by 22 Safari a bit too close to a tree, hence the scratch. It's at the Airstream dealer as I write getting fixed. Take your best guess and I will reveal the $$$ amount after 10 guesses. Good luck!

That’s not a scratch, that’s a gouge, my guess is that the estimate will exceed $6,000..... over $9,000 if they buck rivet....

Scratch?
Overlay? New panel? Olympics? Buck rivets?
As new buck riveted $6500

Saw similar damage being repaired at AS when I was there last year at the TerraPort. Was over $12K

Saw similar damage on another that included both the side (end) caps and the side panels. Was over $22K

I wanted to just leave it but I want to sell and move into a 25 and since Allstate Insurance is paying for it I have no choice. I don't think I could get $15k with that gash.

Don't about the cost.

Just tell them it's a scratch.

They'll buff out.
