Got a leak

I have a leak at the stove vent hood - I am going to remove/repair it but I want to get all the supplies I need before I start. What type of sealant should I use on the hood?

Vulkem sealer.

It does a great job, permanently.

Don't mean to hijack this post, but we noticed a wet floor in our side cabinet next to the fridge and on out into the middle running toward the heater. Thought at first something was leaking from under the fridge, but after returning home from short camp trip, we discovered a hole in the inner wheel well cover. We think there is a larger hole/opening also along the edge that is parallel to the side of the trailer. Are the plastic wheel covers still available or can something like vulkem be used or should we try another approach?!!

PS We discovered the leak because it only happened our trip was during wet weather and we believe the tires threw the water up thru the holes.

PSS Nice to see you have returned Andy!

When you remove the cover make sure you seal well around the flue exiting the wall and coat the replacement screws with a dab of sealant when you replace them. We originally tried just sealing the outer edge of the cover figuring that would shed the water ..... didn't work....
