front of engine access

i have a 1977 20' airstream motor home any one know how to modify to get to the front of the engine from the top?

If it's anything like my 89 345 with a 454, that access is a real bear. Either from the inside motor cover or through the opening above the grill and contorting yourself to do so!

thanks for the reply, i found some screws holding down the front top of the engine cover. i was able to remove these and remove complete engine cover for full access. i put two screws back in, both in the front thru the carpet for easy removal just in case.
