Silver Trailer Supply has advertised lock sets in the past, some going back to the 60's. Many of the old lock mechanisms are pretty simple mechanically. When the bolt (slide) in our '67 broke, none could be found so I had a local machine shop make one using the broken one as a pattern. Lock cylinder design hasn't changed much in 50 years, so that part can usually be serviced by a lock smith.
There is a direct lock replacement available for your Airstream.
It's made by Trimark.

Andy, is there one of those fancy electronic door lock replacements available for airstreams? I think I have seen one for a regular rv door but unsure if it would fit. Wife never carries the keys and I have to "hurry up" to unlock the door when we get back from hikes and such. I know what the simple solution is but after 33 yrs. of compliance I ain't looking for no grief.
