Fridge Leaning Out, Falling
I couldn't find much about how the fridge supposed to be mounted and why mine was falling out, so I am adding this thread. The problem started when a gap formed between the fridge and the cabinet at the top. It got bigger over time and the fridge seemed to be loose.
It became wide enough that I could see 2 screws attached to the upper rail of the cabinet and small tubs that seemed ripped off. They were originally attached to the upper rail of the fridge.

The tabs and screws seem way too small to support the weight of the fridge, which explains why they fail.

My temporary solution (I am on the road) is a large decking screw and a washer driven through the hole in the upper rail of the fridge and into the upper rail of the cabinet. It is holding for now, but I am concerned that there must be more support to hold such a heavy fridge. I will try to research when back home.

The fridge should be supported by “legs” on the bottom. Those screws in the top should do nothing more than prevent the unit from sliding in the hole.

This seems like another example of poor quality control at Airstream. This kind of problem, like some I have seen in my vintage rig, often originates in design and engineering but can also exist when assembly line folks decide to improvise. I personally think Airstream is not totally committed to quality in their products as evidenced by their tacit response to the rotten floor problem so often seen in our trailers

You have a 2018 AS so you must still be under warranty. I would take it to a reputable Airstream dealer in whatever area you are. Forum members will direct you to a good one they trust for quality service. They have recently done that for me.

Jacob-The person is looking for suggestions/help. All you offer is a bunch of whines. Why don’t you go over the Twitter or Facebook and whine over there? Then you can be in the elite crowd of fellow whiners sitting in their underwear, in their mommy’s basement, whining about everything instead of solving issues and helping their acquaintances.

I wonder why your frig falling out generated an email reach-out from JC but my closet falling off the wall over my curbside twin generated nothing.

You should send them a private message.
I was not trying to reach Airstream. When my problem started I couldn't find any information about it in the forum. My problem is difficult, because I am on the road and there is food in the fridge. Taking it back to the dealer at this point would be a big pain. I needed a quick fix that let me continue the trip. Once home, I can take it back to the dealer. I was just trying to record my problem and my solution as information for future misfortunate owners how might have the same problem.
I am actually surprised by the widespread interest. Maybe it is more common than we think. I am glad to see that Airstream themselves are interested.

Follow Up, Requesting Advice
So, Now that I am back home from the trip I decided to try and figure out why my fridge was falling out. Turns out the lower cross member of the cabinet supporting the fridge from below has dropped about 1/2 of an inch. The stress pulled the tabs at the top of the fridge and allowed it to lean forward.
Attached are pictures from both sides. The one for the left clearly show a damage to the edge of the cross section as it was pulled down. I wonder what would be the best way to fix this. I am thinking of placing a couple of 2x4 blocks to keep the cross member supported from the floor. Any other ideas?
I have a feeling my trailer's main problem is with the cabinetry. The wood seem to be of an inferior quality and things are getting pulled apart. Anybody else has the same issues? or is it just me.
