Fridge heat

I am wondering how hot the flu pipe gets on my Dometic RM2520? I am trying to do some rewiring(12volt) behind the panel the television is mounted on. I can get the wire to run down but am not sure if it is coming in contact with the flu.

I also have vent fans being delivered but was going to mount them low to avoid pulling the fridge out. It looks pretty easy on the Dometic site, I just hate to open a can of worms with something that may beyond my skills. Thanks

Not sure if you may have a higher wattage heating element, but the RM660 I have warms the flue substantially, but not to the point that it would concern me with wiring. Note that I also run a computer case fan for help in moving air across the cooling coils.

The boiler flu is on the left side of the refrigerator when facing it from the door. When on gas it gets fairly hot but probably not enough to cause a problem with wire insulation.

Just try to keep the wires to the right/rear side of the vent.
