Fresh Water Pump Quit

My fresh water pump went for the long ride home this week, I am in the market for another one , anyone have a good idea on a new one ? 2.8 GPM 3.8 or 4.0 . Shurflo or another brand ? I am on a tight budget so any help is great !!!! Thanks in advance

Shurflos are the cheapest, but their performance matches the price.

Your Airstream, originally had a Peters and Russel, or Jabsco, their new name.

They cost more, but a bad life span for them, before you must install a overhaul kit, is only 20 to 30 years, depending on use. Bummer.

Do you think you will be using the same trailer 20 years from now? (if you are still alive) Flowtec makes an equivalent to Shurflow but is even less costly because they do not advertise as much. I have used them for a five years without a problem. I pick them up at Camping World and they can be put in the position in usually less than 1/2 hour for less than $75. The gasket repair kit for the Jabsco is about $100. Look around on the net there are lots of alternatives.
