So, here's the question everyone forgot to ask...... How is it in Strong Winds ? Does it hold up or start to "tilt"? (like times when you have to roll your awnings in due to the winds).

I want to fly a flag from my trailer.
I have a flag with a Magnolia flower on it. The WBCCI Mississippi unit newsletter is called the Magnolia Messenger. I support a Gospel newspaper also called the Magnolia Messenger. I also live in the Magnolia state.
I don't have a flag pole or a clue how to mount one. I was thinking a flag pole holder mounted to the tongue jack would work.

MB can you show a shot of the back side of how the pipe clamps are attaching to the pole holder? Opening photo looks like they are parallel and I have pondered how they are attached.

As far as the winds, I have no idea. Yesterday we had 20 MPH sustained winds and it did great.

Thanks Doug, I make the holder, it bolts on to the jack post. the poles are telescoping "painter's poles", available from Lowes or HD. You can PM me for more info.

Darrell, looking good. I think you need to swing the jack motor 90* so the center pole will clear better. Easy to do, just loosen the three 5/32 set screws in the collar of the head just under the motor. Then swing the motor 90*. Nothing to remove, just loosen and swing it. Sometimes paint on the jack will require a little bump with your hand to break it lose to move it.

Remember to retighten the set screws.

Great looking rig, thanks for posting the picture.
