film on windows

I have a 1979 28' ambassador. It has a plastic film on all the windows. Looking for suggestions to get it off.

It should peel right off as almost all window films are applied by wetting window then applying film then sqeugee to smooth and force excess water out.

The Windex is to stop it resticking.

Take the window out (carefully)lay flat and soak the film with ammonia then razor blade to scrape.
