A wastebasket. Because what comes with the AS is pathetic.

Filling the fresh water tank
Never liked filling the fresh water tank.
Here's what I came up with for less than $5.00!
Works like a dream!
Funnel can be used alone for adding diluted bleach solution for sanitizing.

I installed two way switches in both our fantastic fans.
The switches (K9001-09) cost me around $13.00 each, I had the rest of the material handy so it was just 30 minutes or so of time.

Except for the wiring, does the switch swap into the same hole as the original on/off switch?

Yes. There's one extra wire you have to run, and you have to extend the wire from the motor, but otherwise it's fairly painless. I found a wiring diagram on the internet (I forget where actually...), so all I needed to do was cut some wire, crimp on the connectors and hook it up. On my 2016, the fan is already setup with a motor that goes both ways, it's just a switch issue. There are two poles on the old switch and four on the new switch.

Ok. Thanks for the data. I'll go looking for the schematic.

Here you go: http://www.rvvent.com/images/6000RBTAwireing.pdf
I knew I found it fairly painlessly, but you have to know what to look for.

Fantastic Fan
Regarding the Fantastic Fan.
I upgraded my two fans with the reversing switches. The Company (Fantastic Fan) sent me the switches and told me to call when I was ready to install. They had someone talk me through the process. It was fairly easy.
Besides the reversing switches, I asked about a trim ring made for the curved ceiling of the Airstream trailer. Yep. They sent me two of those - only had to pay shipping........trim rings were free and switches were nominal (about $15 if I remember correctly).
Fantastic Fan Company sticks by their products!

Hitch dolly
Hi, for storage in my garage and so I can roll my hitch closer to my tow vehicle. My hitch weighs right at 50 lbs. This makes it easier for me to move it where I need it with out walking with 50 lbs. in my hands. I used a small furniture dolly and some scrap pieces of wood. I did have to buy four "L" brackets to hold my spring bars in place. Cost; Maybe $20.00 total. Center section holds the small pieces.

I've looked for the hold out hinges used for the bathroom upper cabinet and cannot find them. Are they identified by another name?
Thanks!

Not being as spry as I used to be, I found I was always grabbing the lip under the TV, so I installed a grab rail there. I determined center, drilled shallow holes sized for threaded metal inserts, then screwed the rail into those with 1/4 x 20 screws.
The other side of the wall is the shower, and the void contains wiring for the TV so washers and nuts were not possible.
and:
I go this tip from the YouTube couple LoLoHo, rechargeable motion sensor lights inside cabinets.
You attach a metal strip using supplied double sided tape, the fixture is magnetic, then the lights are charged with a USB, and light whenever the cabinet is opened.
10 LED's in "soft white".

Hi Robert,
Here is a mod I did to the hitch adjustment bar. It makes it easier to lift the hitch into the receiver and carry it for a short distance without being off balance with your back. I think it will work well for loading it on your dolly mod.

The handle is made to slip out of the bracket when not in use. Sorry for the quality of the photographs.

Hi, good job; Maybe thread a knob onto the "U" bolt. Also how much weight is the Rock Tamer bracket? I'm trying to keep the weight down too. Looking at picture number 2, you don't have a choice to install your bracket later. [2" square hole]

I would guess the bracket weighs 1-2 lbs but I can weigh it and let you know. Not sure if I understand your question, but the rock tamer bracket needs to be slid on the stinger and tightened with set screws before putting the hitch in the receiver. Are you talking about added weight when you physically have to lift the hitch? If so I will weigh it for you. The handle makes it easy to lift the hitch and slide it into the receiver. It gives you a center of gravity for the hitch and the hitch can be lifted with one hand.
