Great vents; AS puts two of them on the Eddie Bauers ...

As for screen door handles, we have a 1" tubular piece of webbing tied as a "hero" loop that makes door closing a breeze...

[QUOTE=palmtreegirl;1491932]Hello Airstreamers!

I found this folding stool and I must say that it's awesome! Folds flat, not heavy and provides a place to sit (I use mine in the kitchen). Who doesn't need an extra place to sit?
Amazon.com: TG 82-0827 24-Inch Cushioned Folding Stool, Black: Home Improvement

I even bought one for my house kitchen and I use it all the time! Price? Such a deal at about $25.00! Wt. limit ~300 lbs.

Nice find Palmtreegirl.
I bought one of these after seeing your post. I use it as a foot stool when I'm relaxing on the lounge but don't want to lay down. To make it the height I needed, I cut 3" off the bottom of the legs and added 4 rubber cane tips I purchased at the drug store so as not to poke any holes in the flooring. Works perfectly and easy to store when not in use. Thanks for posting this item.

Replacing that awful loud refrigerator fan in our 23fb with a silenx fan. Now we can sleep at night. I don't understand why they don't come this way from the factory.

We posted pics of the mod we did. Search for refrigerator or Silenx fan and you should find it. I ended up buying 2 of these fans and we fabricated an aluminum bracket to replace the factory bracket. 2 was probably overkill but we don't hear them at all and they work great.

Sewer light

Hi, I ordered a boat light to replace my sewer light; It's LED and much brighter.

Hi Bob,
Are both of those lights the same? Would Amazon have them? I just got a truck with a back up camera - the lighted hitch really needs to be brighter.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi, palmtreegirl; I bought both of these lights from Amazon. They are way brighter than the 194 bulbs that came from the factory.

LED License light / stainless steel $6.56 each.

TH Marine LED-51876-P companion way light $10.95 each.

Hi, the sewer light is also recessed, but needs a larger hole. For those who don't know the best way to make a large hole larger since you can no longer use a 1/4" pilot hole. Here is how I do it. Find a hole saw that fits the existing hole and install the next size up hole saw on the same mandril. Now the smaller saw is the guide for the larger one.

My sewer light stopped working a few months ago. It was barely visible when it did work. Guess I have a new project.
