Is having less RPM going to make a significant difference if it's only 25 RPM? Anyone have issues with making a new mount? Or have a part number or direction that can point me in for getting a new fan motor? Thanks!
I'm in the process of taking the motor out of my Armstrong AC unit in my '76. I'm soaking the allen screws with penetrating oil and hope to undo the mounting in a couple of days, at which time I'll be off the the local Grainger warehouse. Hopefully they will have a replacement. My AC tech, who is a friend, says it shouldn't be over 3 amps. I'll get back to you when I know more.
