Exterior Sealant Removal

Hey Everyone,

What is the best way to remove sealants from the the ac and vents on the exterior... some say goo be gone, vinegar baking soda, paint thinner... I don't want to damage the AL...

I would try mineral spirits.

Plastic paint scrapper for the bulk of it, then DeBond works best for me:

Handyman Formula

There is a 'marine' formulation as well that is a touch stronger if you encounter a truly tenacious section.
