Electric in front cabinet in end cap

We would like to put an electric outlet in the cabinet in the front end cap where the factory radio is installed in our '92 Soverign. The radio gets power somehow so I'm hoping we can tap into that, but I don't want to break into the inside of the cabinet not knowing if this is going to be do-able.

Thoughts on the feasibility of this idea and any tips on how to proceed?

What type of outlet?

Radio probably runs on 12 volts.
Are you wanting a 12 VDC outlet or 110 VAC?

You mention "outlet" but didn't say what you're trying to accomplish. Our 1992, 29' Classic / Excella is likely very similar to your trailer. There is no 120 VAC in the overhead cabinet area on our trailer. There is 12 VDC to run the lights and the radio.

Type of Outlet

110 VAC preferred, but 12 V would be doable.

We want to plug in a small item up there.
