I too am having this problem with my 72. I have noticed that these years have the one main hinge in the middle, which appears to cause this problem. While other years have hinges at top and bottom to prevent this. I'm wondering if adding a hinge on top or bottom would help our issue. Hopefully someone will give their advice.

The solution for my sagging 72 door was to remove the 1/4" door pin and drill out the hinges to 5/16" and install a new tight fitting 5/16" pin into now unworn hinges.

It tightened everything up well on my door, its been about four years now.

I removed the hinge and then line reamed the lugs on the worn half to .310 and installed interference fit bronze bushing with an ID of .250. I did this myself but any competent machine shop should be able to do this.
Its outlined in my thread below.

You can get stainless steel round stock thru McMaster Carr to use as your pin. They have all sizes. You will have to cut it to length.
