Dometic 510A

Hello out there!
I have a 1968 overlander with what I think is the original fridge. It's a Dometic 510A. It works great while connected to 110, and fires up when connected to gas, but doesn't seem to cool off while running on gas. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Try removing the burner and cleaning the crusties out of it. Also clean the chimney with a tube brush before you reinstall the clean burner. The rust, soot and crusties fall into the burner and clog it up.
Good luck! Hope you get it working.

Thanks Top!
Also my igniter rod isn't working, any thoughts about replacement or retrofit? Think I just need a new flint striker wheel... But can I buy one anywhere?!?
