Does anyone know what this is?

Hi Folks,

I'm working on a 1983 31 ft Excella.

In the front by the electric jack there's a boat shaped appendage with 2 white wires coming from it. It's 3" long, 1.75" wide and 3/4" thick. It's attached to a bracket which in turn is fixed to one of the electric jack bolts.

The PO didn't know what it was. I'm going to try and post a photo with this post. I'd be much obliged if anyone can tell me what it is and what it's supposed to do.

Thanks in advance,

Norm
