North Dallas Airstream.
As I understand it, they're not a dealer, but come very highly recommended for repairs.

If you must have a dealer, you might wish to call Roger Williams Airstream in Weatherford and speak with Denver about your repair needs. When we lived in Aledo we used those folks for mods and repairs and were extrememly satisfied. While the head honcho isn't there any longer, if Denver is still there you should be very happy with the results. The repair you mention should be easy enough for any competent Airstream tech to handle however. Good luck.

Been there done that

I have used them both. Other than a panel replacement I would go to Roger Williams Airstream....especially if you have a Vintage....or just want quality, clean, workmanship. Great folks at both places.

Roger Williams Airstream

Regretfully, Roger Williams has closed it's Airstream doors. I was told that they hope to be back up-and-running again next year.

Your Right!!!

I just talked with them...Denver retired and they are reorganizing. Any good Airstream Mechs/Techs out there want a job......here you go. Now I have to find a reliable, clean, capable shop myself. Someone said Lubbock.....another Nashville.....Ohio....California?

Explore RV in Denton and Mesquite come up on the Airstream website. I too have some things I need handled on my 07' 27' FB Safari SE LS and am looking for a good dealer to handle them. I am in McKinney. My dealer that was in Rockwall (Rrandall Noe Airstream) is no longer. Biggest issues are the front compartment weatherstripping, Tank Monitor calibration and the black tank cleaner thing leaks behind the wall where the hose connects to the exterior. Anyone have experience with the Explore RV guys?

Call Randy at N. Dallas RV. They are just off George Bush at I35. Their shop isn't much to look at but they do good work and know what they are doing. They fixed my awning bracket.

Thanks everyone! Dropped the Bambi off at North Dallas RV yesterday. Spoke with Randy. I will keep you posted. It was amazing to see so many different AS on his lot. Lots of original vintage trailers for sale waiting for some TLC.

Randy at North Dallas RV did our last repairs. Most were warranty some my fault. Time frame was good, he had to order a part that I broke. We were pleased with the service and they know what they are doing. This past February when we went to the Dallas RV Show, there were no dealers with AS. There was a guy who identified himself as a factory rep from Ohio. He told me the dealers would not be attending the shows there any longer only factory reps. He also suggested Explore RV in Denton. Since they just started carrying/servicing AS we decided on North Dallas RV which is also easier for us to get to from McKinney as well, a straight shot down 121 to I-35 and your there. Roger Williams helped us the previous year but they are 3 times as far away. Randy was upfront with us. We will go back to him for future service.

Made appointment to drop off our baby to Randy in the morning. I have a panel in the front where the front storage door is that has tears in the sheet metal at the corners. If any of you are there and see it give me an update when you pick yours up. It is tagged with a vanity plate "RUFF IT"

Hi Krazyjohnny,
My 07 Bambi is there. Vanity plate "Woodie". That plate came off one of my husbands antique cars . Haven't heard back form Randy about awning repair yet. He was also checking on some warranty items. I will check on your baby too if she is still there when we pick up.

I am not letting them go! they are mine all mine! sorry getting carried away.

I do miss flying but I am not willing to get a taste of the powered airplane. I am goign to stick with un-powered "winged" vehicles. I am looking at hang gliders and possibly a glider club. Definately parachuting.
