No Worries, about being behind. I never intended people to keep up with what I'm doing. I'm retired and get to play at what ever I want during the day. I'm just trying to get ahead. So if I decide to take off for a week or two I won't leave everyone waiting on me. I would like everyone to take this on at there own pace. So once again, No Worries.

instruction

This is the first instruction in drawing the 50's 13 segment trailers. One of the main goals of these instructions is to get the feeling of the segmented trailers. Also additional techniques and design approaches will be covered in this section.

I just started a 3D collection in the Google 3D warehouse. I plan to add more models. The Flying Cloud currently in the collection is a rough model. Thanks to Don for helping out with the end caps.

If anyone would like to add theirs to it let me know. I look forward to seeing how everyone is progressing.

Don, What is the saying? Two great minds on a single track. How good is this. I had just started a 3d Warehouse Collection also. I thought it would be a good place for this group to share their models for all forum Airstreamers who wanted to use SketchUp to design updated interiors etc. How about we join or link the two collections. I've included plumbing parts and other plumbing items that could be used. Let me know what you think. Sounds like you are well on your way now. Great to hear.

Actually, I was thinking the same thing.

If you know how to link our collections, let me know.

I have since made 27FB and 30FB models, but want to do a little more to them before I upload them.

If you go to your 3d Warehouse site and look down on the left you should see a place to click on that says link to another collection.

instruction Why 3d

Why 3d is a 5 10min section of instruction that looks at some of the advantages of using SketchUp. Being able to move cabinets etc. around easily and experiment with size is a great help in pre-planning a design. Also the swing of doors, drawers and other moving parts can be checked for interference. Later the layout and planning of holding tanks and plumbing will be explored.

Don,
I have been watching this thread and your tutorials are really great! I am too far into my renovation at this point that it would help but I may do a post-renovation just to use the application. Very cool!

Tadd, thanks for the positive input. Great to hear that your Renovation is well along. It's a great feeling to be able to see the end. Here is one of the things I like about SketchUp. When it's too cold, too dark, too expensive, too late at night, etc. you still can be working on Airstreams. Do I have it bad? Or What!!

Just looked at your Blog. Excellent and Beautiful work.
