Here is segment four. 1d

Remember a second left mouse click after you click to start the video will bring you right to youtube. So you can see a larger image of the video.

Don. I would like to jump aboard. I am really pleased that I came across this project of yours. I would not only like to create a trailer but I am going to take the opportunity of improving my SketchUp skills with both hands. I am also going to do your beginner Art course. Al

Welcome aboard, When you open this thread, if you go to the top blue line and look for search, click on the search and type in "instruction" and you will get a window with just the instruction section. That will make following the order of lessons a little easier.
I am in the process of producing the next Art lesson. They take much longer to produce.

Here is lesson 1f
YouTube - Beginning end cap 1f.mp4

The end cap is more difficult. So play the video as many times as needed.

I have got some catching up to do. In the first lesson, the photo that you imported is "cropped". How do I achieve this? I am assuming that this has to be done? Al

Al, don't worry about catching up. I've worked at these lessons so that anyone can jump in at any time. The program that I used to crop the image was Adobe Photoshop Elements 8. You should be able to download a trial copy that is good for 30 days. Have you ever used Photoshop? Also you should be able to make a simple rectangular edit in the photo editing program on your computer. That would work fine. Let me know if you have any other questions.

An now lesson 1h. The completion and alignment of the inner end cap of the Airstream trailer.
YouTube - Beginning end cap 1h.mp4

Be brave and try to complete the outer end cap on your own. before I create the lesson. Getting in and having failures is a most important part of really learning. Besides you don't have to worry about any grading here.

Don, No I have never used PhotoShop, for that matter I don't have any photo editing experience. I will get down to it and start by (as per your advice) looking at the software that shipped with my computer. I recently switched to Mac. Al

JFerguson, thanks for the positive input. Please feel free to ask questions, if something isn't clear with my presentation.
