Crack in Center Rock Protector

I just noticed yesterday that our middle rock protector (the over-window center tinted 'plastic' one, not one of the side curved ones) has a crack in it. Looks like I kicked up a rock, but may have been kids....

Has anyone replaced one of these on their Airstream? Any idea what material they are made of, tinted plexiglass?

Thanks in advance!!

I have star-burst cracks in both of my curved ones and in my center one as well. That is what they are there for...to take the hit. I won't replace mine until they get much worse...because it will happen again. Another thread indicated that rather than replacing with plexi, go with polycarbonite. Costs more, but is more resistant to cracking and will flex to the curved side panel shape without heating in a large oven, like plexi.

I have a crack in one of my side curve protectors. I noticed it about 3 yrs. ago when washing. It has not grown in length in all this time. At first I was concerned and thought about drilling a termination hole at the ends and covering with some epoxy and reinforcement tape but to date have not done anything with it. Mine has not fractured either. So far so good. I suggest just keeping an eye on it and don't worry about it unless it's in a spot that bothers you.
