Coleman A/C 6759 series fan trouble

A/C fan starts then stops, compressor keeps running. Do not know build year of Coleman model 6759B716 or btu size? The unit is A/C with heating coil. Do not believe it is original unit on my 1986 34' Excella. Where to start?

Correction

A/C unit model is 6759C707 and is original 1986, would it be best to just replace it here in SW Florida?

Do not replace it with the new mach 8 unless you want to wear ear plugs. Compressor fan noise is awful.

If it's just the fan, I'd replace that. I replaced the one in my Trade Wind twice over the years. It's also a Coleman. The compressor has been fine.

I did replace the entire AC on my 1983 Excella, but had the opposite problem. The fan motor was fine, but it wasn't cooling any longer.
