Cluster lights

On the front there are three (3) amber cluster lights and on the rear there are three (3) red cluster lights, they were replaced at one point in the trailers life.
Have purchased new LED cluster lights from ODM and seem to have run into a problem.
The problem encountered is the electrical connector on each of the new LED cluster lights is about 1/4 in in diameter and it looks like the old lights did not have a bezel to offset the electrical connector. The side marker light has a bezel and might work witout modification has anyone else ran into this similar situation. I do not want to cut off the electrical connector on the new LED light to make it work.

Here is a photo of one of the LED marker lights. It does not have a recesses area for the connector.

Those connections should be inside the shell anyway. I had the same type LED's and the trailer will not have the corresponding female end on the trailer wires. I cut off the ends, soldered and heat shrank longer wires to inside and then soldered and again heat shrank new connectors to both the LED wire extensions and the trailer wires.
