Click from somewhere

Just returned from a great 11 day, 9 state trip. Went outside this morning to start the clean out and I hear a click noise. It sounds to be up front under the window. It is raining today so that might be a factor. Any ideas?

Battery relay, possibly. Converter also a possibility.

Are you on battery or shore power, and when you switch from one to the other does the click disappear?

Ok sound went away after just a little bit as I was cleaning out from trip. Never really could pin point location. After cleaning I was ready to move from the driveway to farm where I keep between trips. Well the jack was dead Aghh. Jumped the jack and it still works, yeah! 😃 That means power issue, off to review service manual (best friend at times). I see there is a mini breaker or 25 amp circuit breaker. Dismantled a little bit of the lounge to get access. With the 7way cover off I can't see this mini breaker. Anyone know how far it might be? Really don't want to take the skin down. Anyone ever seen this?

Hey Protagonist, side note were you at the Foley open house couple sat ago?

My 72 AS has a 30 amp relay switch at the front of the AS. At the point where the cord for the 7 pin connector is, just behind the skin. It is self resetting. Could be the sound you heard. But it sounds like a short of some kind. Just FYI

Yes. Took my Interstate in for some warranty repair work on the generator, just in time to attend.

I'm the one with the old airstream when you pulled in. Had a great time with the staff up there. Now if only they were closer.

Yes it is a 12v breaker. It normally auto resets. My thought is that the monsoon rain was soaking the 7way, cover broken off, causing the breaker to reset till it failed.
