Can't find the 12V fuse bus...

manufacture date 11-1977 28' Ambassador.
Can anyone tel me where to find the 12v fuse bus? I have owned several non-AS trailers over the years and know my way around the systems. However I was totally stumped today looking for the 12v panel.
Thanks,
Dan

On my 1979 Safari, the fuses are between the batteries on the front wall.

On my 75 TW the battery is in the rear and the converter and fuse panel are close by. Your battery(s) is in the front and the panel should be up front where Bill has suggested.

Here's a photo from my 1983 Excella. The gaucho has been removed for replacing the Univolt.

You can see the fuse panel, with its cover removed, above the Univolt between the battery boxes just under the front window.

On ours, the fuse panel is INSIDE the Univolt housing, which was a major PITA, since the Univolt was tucked in under the tub. Of course, ours is 4 years older than yours. Good luck.

Our 78, 28ft Ambassador's fuse panel is the same as the photo above...

We have the gaucho on the 'side', not across the front, and the access is through the cabinet that spans the width up front below the fwd windows...and it's a pain to get too - on hands and knees...

I guess the 'design staff' never had to make service calls on the fuses or their wires - otherwise they may have changed the location to a more convenient location!
