Happy to join you all, this is my first post on this site. I'm not an owner, but I intend to buy a vintage 'stream in the next year or two, hopefully a 17-19 foot 50's or 60's model that I can restore and customize.
Which to my question, AirstreamCaravel: I live in Evanston, and was wondering if I might take a quick peek inside your Airstream some afternoon. I've never stood in an Airstream before, and you have the era and length which I'm fascinated with. After devouring pictures, polishing tips and floorplans of these things for the better part of the last year, it'd sure be helpful to in one and see if it's small enough, or big enough - for my needs.
I realize this is rather forward considering we're talking about your "home," so feel free to say "No thanks." But if you were willing, I'd love to swing by for 5 minutes or so!
