C channel dimensions for 56 Flying Cloud

I am away from my 1956 Flying Cloud, but I need the dimensions of the c channel on the floor between the interior and exterior walls of the coach. Does anyone have those dimensions at hand? Thanks, Hank

Hi Hank, the original c channel was usually .032 thick. have yours made of .040 and you will appreciate the extra strength. also, many of my original rivets just barely hit in the outer edge at the original height so adding an extra half inch to the outer leg wont hurt and may help.

Thanks, rumrunner and goshawks00, for your help. I needed the dimensions because I wanted to find a 1/8" thick extrusion that I will put on the floor under the front window. My FC did not have a hold-down plate, and I will use the extrusion to hold additional rivets passing through the exterior skin along the bottom of the sheet under the front window. I ordered the extrusion yesterday.

Hank
