Bubbles in ceiling

We just walked into our '85 Excella and found something I swear wasn't there two hours ago. There are bubbles in the bedroom ceiling near the fan and light. I am attaching photos. Does anyone know what this could be? It isn't raining, the fantastic fan has been running while we were out to dinner, no exterior damage EXCEPT a recent hailstorm that cracked a/c shroud - hubby taped the cracks. Ideas??Click image for larger version

It looks like water separating the vinyl sheet covering the plywood (or hardboard or whatever it is) ceiling liner. Poke one of the bubbles with a needle and see if water comes out. If so, that A/C shroud may be leaking.

Poked holes with pin. Water in bubbles. Some will squish out, some of them are hard. Will check both fan and a/c. Thanks.
