We decided to try our own hand at sewing sofa cushions for our wraparound sofa. I think they came out very well. Under the sofa, note the storage drawers retained by SS detent locks.

Complete new kitchen cabinet with three burner SS stove top. We have reused the original 1973 pea green double sink since it was in excellent condition. Under the counter top, installed was a grey water tank, water distribution manifold, furnace, and plenty of storage space.

Double bed includes custom ordered 32" x 74" mattresses. 11" thick with SS coated springs and special pillow tops. Bed covers were made by my wife Kay.

Small wall mounted lamp should provide plenty of light. In addition, infrared ceiling light for night use. Stenciling, decorating, as well as painting of the interior was done by my wife.

Bathroom's tub was restored and re-coated. Shower curtain and decorations, courtesy of my wife Kay.

Bathroom sink sports a new cabinet and SS sink.

SS bumper storage box will house the necessary items to maintain trailer's utilities. Please note, that all of the trailer lighting (aside of 110V) is LED inside and out.

If more information is needed or anyone is interested in details, please let me know. Thank you "Boatdoc"

Now all you need to do is attend the International Rally in Madison, WI next year and enter the Concourse de Elegance (or however it's spelled!).

I've been following this project since before you started on the frame. The frame, by the way, was a work of art. The rest of the restoration followed in like fashion. Congrats on a great job.

Can I be just a little envious now.....!!???

Very nice work! You both have done an excellent job. Reward yourself with a nice long relaxing trip. My Aunt just finished the curtains for my trailer but I have had too many things come up to get it finished. I just finished cutting down 20 trees at the house over the weekend - need to take care of domestic stuff before I can play in the trailer.

It really does look great Boatdoc. I especially love your craftsmanship on the front lounge area. You deserve a nice long vacation in your new trailer.

The mega coats of varnish really show off the Okoume grain. Like the seafoam green and the wraparound is quite nice.

All in all I say

Looks like the lower outside Red has a little USMC influence going on there.

Now enjoy that rig. DG

Beautiful job!

What did you mean by "infrared ceiling light"?
