Black Flexible Drain Pipe

Don't know what I was thinking at the time, but during demolition, I threw out all of the flexible black drain line. Maybe it was smelly, and gummed up inside, but flexible PVC runs $3.25 plf.

Does anyone know what the original pipe material was and where I could find some of it??
