Bilge Keel option
Our next AS will have this option, as well as the high-efficiency bilge pumps.

Been chasing them since the day we brought it home from the dealer. Haha, it's just a part of the gig, I know I would like for at least one rain shower to pass and it not leak; the last time it was at the dealer it spent 5 weeks there.

Skip the dealer and make a vacation trip to central Ohio. Get it done by those who know them best.

Ah, British Leyland.
Do you know why the British don't build computers?
They haven't figured out how to make them leak oil.

Lucas has that dishonor. They used war surplus wiring with natural rubber insulation. Add a little water and road salt the electricity goes everywhere except where you want it to go.

I used to own a Land Rover where one of the signalling lights didn't work unless you removed the plastic cover, when it started working immediately, despite the fact that there was nothing, but absolutely nothing, connecting the two.

Fan of David Brown tractors, current is a 1981 Case 380 with fully-functional original Lucas electrics. Lucas systems on english agri equipment is surprisingly resilient; place the same components on a passenger car and you get BL.
Fantastic fans now leaking badly. The trailer is new; new trailer smell mixed with rainwater leak smell. I'm done.
This thing is a pile; it has more miles on it going to the dealer than vacationing. What sucks is I convinced the wife an AS was worth waiting and saving for. We'd planned our first solo outing to coincide with her birthday; planned, reservations, friends, and its leaking so badly the floor is now covered with water. She cried - I became as angry as I ever have, ever. We just are over the problems...if it was older or used, ok I'd be aggravated. But it's new, with a picture-perfect interior just like the brochures.
I removed the interior fan trim on the front unit and a pint of water poured-down on my head. I wanted to set the @#$%^& thing on fire. The batteries now test bad, even after being stored in my climate-controlled shop with an initial full charge. I use the mis-installed, unsquare bathroom door as a drip catcher under the tractor. Ok, I gotta take my meds now.

Absolutely! You are probably still under warranty. Call JC and make your appointment. I have had leaks fixed there and am most satisfied with JC's service.

So sorry to hear about the leaks--don't give up--take it to the Mothership and they'll fix it properly.
Because we have a '69 MG and a '62 Jaguar sedan, we also have a large flatbed trailer which we call the "Jaguar/MG accessory." We are well-acquainted with the "Prince of Darkness." Between the Lucas wiring harnesses and the wire wheels (that cause punctures when improperly installed), we have learned to laugh falsely and carry a well-charged cell phone.

I would suggest to the dealer that they take it back to the mothership, on their dime, I lieu of you starting proceedings to have your money refunded in total.

Zombie thread alert...
After 4 days at JC, the leaks, as well as the other issues were corrected. Several seams were not sealed at assembly, however it has been dry since. There were a couple other folks there with late-model units with similar leaking issues that required invasive repairs like removing exterior panels, rotten flooring. Service was good, and the tech was knowledgeable and competent.
